Now here is a thing every old-timer learns the hard way. You can have the richest claim in the territory and still starve on it, if you have not got the tools to work it.
Jesus warns us that out of the heart come evil thoughts (Matthew 15:19). Not until our hearts speak only words of faith and belief can we move mountains and have whatever we say (Mark 11:22-24). God has promised to help us reach that (Habakkuk 3:19). But we must do our part. We must speak words of faith to our hearts (Matthew 12:34-35).
What follows is not an article to read once. It is a set of tools. Keep them where you can reach them.
Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24 ESV)
Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, … it will happen. (Matthew 21:21 ESV)
The Exercise Program
First: Look up every scripture reference so that you know the authority on which you base your confession.
Second: Three times a day confess out loud who you are in Christ and what you possess in Christ. Keep doing this until words of faith pour out of your mouth, and you can pray in any circumstance with faith believing. Do this, and you will “have what you say,” as Jesus promised, “According to your faith be it unto you” (Matthew 9:29; Mark 11:23).

For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you” (Luke 6:38 AMP).
